Super Market

While in Istanbul I discovered one of the best designed restaurants called Supermarket. The design is over the top, Schrager on steroids, but for a restaurant it makes for a fun and fabulous evening. Located in the equally swanky Sofa Hotel, Super Market sells a great scene as well a varied and delicious menu. With a combination of rococo and hipster elements this place has something for everyone. The supermarket theme is carried out to the extreme with grocery carts and lots of grocery staples displayed throughout the luxury setting. The cool cocktails are served either with a mardi gras mask or inside a Converse hi-top! After touring ancient palaces and mosques all day, the modern design of Supermarket is a welcome change!
