Finding Yourself

It has been ages since I have posted on my own personal blog as I have been busy finishing up some exciting projects. One is a new company website that I will be unveiling in early May. In the meantime, I still want to bring my viewers some of the fun finds that I spot.
The latest is an idea dreamt up by a team of amazing graphic designers.
The Map Envelope utilizing the now so familiar Google Maps. These give the perfect added touch to a save the date or an average business correspondence letter.

IKEA Winner

IKEA seems to have a lot of new kitchen products right now. I bought these great bottles for $2.99 each. They worked out great for serving vodka at my Winter Olympics theme party last weekend. The more of these that you have the better they look together and at $2.99 you can collect as many as you want!

eBay Obsession for the month

My latest eBay obsession is finding vintage board games to style the lower level of my coffee table with. This post on Apartment Therapy from last week details how to find some great board games currently in production.

Good Design To Stick By

People often search for a motto to live by, and others choose to live by design.  I found this wall decal here and think it makes perfect sense to have in my design office! The whole piece is so inspiring!

New Year Dreams

Since resolutions never stick, this year I am going to make a list of dreams for a better new year in 2010!

1) Focus on this blog more by sharing not just my photography but all of the great finds in the design world.

2) Turn Claire Bock Photography into a conglomerate called Claire Bock Design with a new logo soon to be unveiled!

3) Work on my online shop Moderne Maison in a more aggressive way

Alt Pick Awards

New Online Shop

I have launched a shop through etsy called Moderne Maison. Not only am I selling select photographic prints, but some of my letterpress work and stylish vintage finds for the home!
